Monday, July 26th, 2010I received a Tiffany Hanging Lamp (a real Tiffany, not fake) from my grandparents who bought it when they were recently married so it was purchased back in the late 40′s early 50′s. It is approximately 3-4 feet wide and it has grapes on it. I saw one on Ebay this size that had grapes and pears on it and it was going for approximately $50,000.00. This lamp has one stain glass piece missing, and one edge pieces is just hanging on by a thread (however, as far as I can remember it has been like that. My grandma said that it is worth a lot of money but I just wanted to know if anyone would know the approximate value. My husband and I thought maybe we should get it insured if it has a high value.
I have a hanging lamp- in the wrong spot! Any ideas?
Wednesday, May 19th, 2010I have a lamp that hangs near where my kitchen table should be. It is just 3 feet or so from what makes sense. So, what do I do? I think it is really out of style to use a hook to move the chain….
Ps- I just bought a really pretty tiffany style lamp to hang from it- if there are any cool ideas that would go with that.
